Change of mind returns

  • Products cannot be returned due to “change of mind”.

Faulty of defective products

In line with the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product:

  • Is faulty or of unacceptable quality.
  • Does not match the description or sample provided.
  • Is unfit for its intended purpose.
  • Is unfit for its intended purpose.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns under this category.

How to return items

  • Returns will be arranged using the same method as the original delivery.
  • The customer is responsible for any delivery costs associated with the return, unless the product is faulty or defective.
  • Customers have a 14 day return window to initiate the return process
  • Customers can initiate a return by contacting us at westmelb@hungrypetwarehouse.com with their proof of purchase and reason for return. We may ask for photo evidence in some circumstances.

Proof of purchase

Proof of purchase is mandatory for any return or refund. Accepted forms include:

  • Tax invoice or receipt.
  • Online purchase confirmation email
  • Transaction history linked to your Hungry Pet Warehouse account.

Refund timeframes

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of return approval.
